Everyday healthcare benefits to cover you and your family

This product is provided through the Friendly Healthcare Organisation Limited (FHOL) which is a wholly owned subsidiary of Benenden Healthcare Society. FHOL is an appointed representative of HSF health plan Limited who is the Insurer of this plan.

The Benenden Health Cash Plan is available exclusively to Benenden Healthcare Society members aged 16-65 (inclusive).

As a member of Benenden Healthcare Society, you’ve taken care of the unexpected. And now with the Benenden Health Cash Plan you can take care of the everyday healthcare bills for you and your family.

Providing reimbursement for everyday healthcare treatments one contribution rate covers you, your spouse or partner and any dependent children up to the age of 18.

With three benefit levels available – Value, Classic or Advantage – the level of cover you select will depend on the amount of benefit you feel you need.

 Full or partial reimbursement for;

  • Your choice of three benefit levels starting from only £1.95 a week;
  • Your family is covered too at no extra cost;
  • One low-cost payment covers you, your spouse or partner and any children up to the age of 18 - from as little as £1.95 per week.

A choice of three benefit levels to suit your needs.

Value Plan

For £1.95 per week, this is our most affordable benefit level and it may be right for you if you expect your health costs to be quite low over the next 12 months, or if you don't have a family.

Classic Plan

For £3.90 a week, this is our medium benefit level, and may be right for you if you expect your health costs to be moderately low over the next 12 months. Depending on circumstances, Classic may suit single people, couples or families.

Advantage Plan

For £7.20 a week, this is our highest benefit level because it gives you 100% reimbursement of your costs (up to the benefit maximum). You also get more generous grants across the full range of treatments. Advantage is popular with people who expect higher healthcare costs, or those who want to take as much uncertainty as possible out of day-to-day health expenses.

Do you have the right benefit level?

If you feel your healthcare costs might increase you may wish to upgrade your plan. Increasing your benefit level will help to ensure that all your family’s healthcare needs are covered without you worrying about the cost.

If you are a Value or Classic member you can upgrade your membership to Classic or Advantage , at any time before the age of 70 to increase the benefits you receive. It's easy to do.

  1. If you are not already a member, join the Benenden Healthcare Society
  2. Upon receipt of your membership number, please return to the Benenden Health Cash Plan website to apply.
