*For family plans benefits reflect the maximum benefit level to be shared amongst all family members, they are not a benefit per individual

+You can claim up to the specified cash payout or the specified number of visits over a 12 month period, whichever is reached first.

Appointments include initial assessment appointments.

What we cover

100% of the amount paid, up to the annual benefit limit, on the following complementary therapies carried out by a registered practitioner:

  • Chiropractic Treatment
  • Acupuncture
  • Osteopathy
  • Homeopathy.

You can claim upto the specified number of visits or the specified cash payout over a 12 month period, whichever is reached first.

Example 1
On the single plan on Level 1 you may visit the Chiropractor twice during 12 months but the total cost of these visits is £100. In this situation you would have reached the benefit limit with just 2 visits.

Example 2
On the Family plan on Level 3, several different members of your family may have visited a number of different practitioners with a total of 16 visits which only came to £610. In this case you would have reached the visit limit for the year.

There is no qualifying period, so you can claim for any treatment you have received after the plan start date. Your benefit year is 12 months and starts on the date your policy commences.

What's not covered

  • Pre-existing conditions
  • Cancelled or non-attended appointments
  • Cost of any product or equipment supplied by the practitioner
  • Treatments due to participation in any professional sport
  • Treatments through self inflicted injury
  • Treatments outside of the European Community
