What we cover

100% of the amount paid, up to the annual benefit limit, including:

New spectacles or contact lenses
Claims for continuing supply scheme payments covering contact lenses only

There is no qualifying period, so you can claim for any treatment you have received after the plan start date. Your benefit year is 12 months and starts on the date your policy commences.

What's not covered

Claims for eye laser surgery
Frames only
Non-prescription glasses
Optical sundry items such as cleaning materials, chains/cords and spectacle cases
Repairs
Treatments due to participation in any professional sport
Treatments through self inflicted injury
Treatments outside of the European Community
