Information which identifies you personally will be utilised to provide the services you require. Where you agree, we and other companies within the Benenden Healthcare Group may use your information for marketing other products and services to you. Your personal information will not be disclosed to third parties without your permission unless we are required to do so by law (or if it is in our legitimate interests to do so). If cookies are used they will similarly only be used to assist the purposes set out in this privacy policy, but cookies will not be used if we do not consider them to be necessary.

For the purposes of the Data Protection Act 1998 we confirm that the proprietors of this site are The Benenden Healthcare Society Limited of Holgate Park Drive York YO26 4GG which is an Incorporated Friendly Society registered under the Friendly Societies Act 1992 registered number 480F. The Benenden Healthcare Society Limited is registered with the Office of the Information Commissioner under registration numbers M0690015 and Z4926433.

Benenden Healthcare membership is initially only available for current or former employees of the Post Office, Civil Service, BT, registered charities, public sector bodies and other approved organisations whose aims and objectives are deemed compatible with those of the Society. Some services have a six month qualifying period.

The Benenden Healthcare Society Limited is an incorporated friendly society, registered under the Friendly Societies Act 1992, registered number 480F. The Society’s contractual business (the provision of tuberculosis benefit) is authorised by the FSA. The remainder of the Society’s business is undertaken on a discretionary basis.
