24 Hour GP Telephone Advice Line

Our specialist 24 Hour GP Telephone Advice Line is available to all members from the day you join and allows you to speak with a practising GP in confidence, at a time which is most convenient for you.

Key benefits:

You can talk to practising GPs about any medical concerns or issues, for example:
  • An ache or pain that won't go away
  • Explanations of diagnosis or treatment you may have been prescribed
  • Possible after-effects of surgery
  • Side-effects of any medication you are taking
  • Vaccinations you may need when you are travelling abroad
  • Health precautions relevant to your own personal medical history
  • Unlimited access to this service 24 hours a day 7 days a week - wherever you are in the world and we'll ring you back, even if you are abroad!
  • Every telephone consultation is confidential and your details will not be passed on to anyone without your prior consent
  • The 24 Hour GP Telephone Advice Line is designed to give you help and advice when you need it most but in an emergency situation, you should still contact your own NHS GP or the emergency services so as not to delay treatment.
