Benenden Health Cash Plan
The Benenden Health Cash Plan is designed exclusively for existing Benenden Healthcare Society members.
Provided through the Friendly Healthcare Organisation Limited which is a subsidiary of the Benenden Healthcare Society Limited, the Benenden Health Cash Plan complements the services already provided by your Benenden Healthcare membership. Because of this, we have been able to keep the cost as low as possible and increase the level of benefits we are able to offer.
The Benenden Health Cash Plan provides you with a way to budget for everyday healthcare expenses. Providing reimbursements for treatments including dental, optical and therapy costs the Cash Plan offer three levels of protection – Value, Classic and Advantage – which cater for your individual needs.
Available to members aged 16 – 65 (inclusive), members benefit from a range of
services including generous payments for:
* Dental and Optical costs, including eye laser treatment
* Physiotherapy, osteopathy, acupuncture, homeopathy, chiropody/podiatry and chiropractic costs
* Grants for stays in hospital and recuperation
* Lump sum payment for the birth or Adoption of a child.

Starting from just £1.95 per week, one contribution covers you, your spouse or partner and any dependent children up to the age of 18.

Organisation Limited [FHOL], which is a subsidiary of the Benenden Healthcare
Society. FHOL is an Appointed Representative of HSF health plan Limited, which
is the insurer of the Cash Plan.

Benenden Healthcare membership is initially only available for current or former employees of the Post Office, Civil Service, BT, registered charities, public sector bodies and other approved organisations whose aims and objectives are deemed compatible with those of the Society. Some services have a six month qualifying period.
The Benenden Healthcare Society Limited is an incorporated friendly society, registered under the Friendly Societies Act 1992, registered number 480F. The Society’s contractual business (the provision of tuberculosis benefit) is authorised by the FSA. The remainder of the Society’s business is undertaken on a discretionary basis.
