Here are some quick and simple tips and hints to help you to stay fit and healthy:

Exercise regularly

Studies have proved that regular exercise is one of the key factors in not only preserving health, but maintaining youth. Activities include brisk walking, swimming, cycling, dancing, aerobics, and yoga. Regular exercise decreases the likelihood of many different health problems occurring, including high blood pressure, heart disease, obesity, joint and bone problems, and depression.

Engage in social activity

We are highly social and interactive beings. This does not change as we age. In fact, it is another key element to maintaining youth and health in such a fast-paced, stressful world.

Take mental challenges

One of the best ways people of both younger and older generations can fight off brain diseases, such as Alzheimer’s, is by keeping the mind sharp. Crossword puzzles, word searches and Sudoku all help.

Keep a positive attitude

Individuals with a more positive outlook on life tend to be healthier and livelier than pessimists around them. This is because the immune system works more effectively when a person has positive mental feelings.
