We pride ourselves on giving local government employees help in managing their own health - and on providing prompt healthcare when illness, injury or other conditions strike.

Amongst the discretionary services on call for your wellbeing are:

  • The chance to choose your hospital and access prompt treatment in hospitals carefully chosen for their commitment to strict hygiene measures and infection control. With a selection of 12 Benenden Healthcare approved regional hospitals, you can take more control of your own healthcare. This service is available after six months of membership
  • Whether your work is desk- based or more physical, muscle strain can take its toll. Our Physiotherapy service can help to provide relief and remove the problems which compromise your home and work life. This service is available after six months of membership
  • Our 24/7 GP Advice Line offers first-class advice from a UK-registered GP. The service works around your availability - call any time, day or night - and provides you with medical advice directly tailored to your needs. Prompt advice and rapid diagnosis can point you towards fast treatment and immediate peace of mind
