The Benenden Over 50s Life Cover offers separate rates for smokers and non-smokers. AXA Sun Life, Tesco, the Post Office and LV= don’t do this. The exact lump sum paid out on death will depend on how old you are when your plan starts, the premium you decide to pay and your personal circumstances.
The Benenden Over 50s Life Cover only pays a cash lump sum when you die - it's not a savings plan and you can't cash it in, as it has no cash-in value.
