Add family and friends when you join Benenden Healthcare

You'll be prompted to add family and friends when you join online, or if you choose to join via the phone 0845 052 5733* we'll ask you to provide their details then. Alternatively, you can download and complete an application form (pdf).

Payment options for existing members to add Friends & Family Healthcare

If you already pay for your Benenden Healthcare membership by Direct Debit, you can choose to cover the costs for your family and friends yourself. It's ideal if you want to share your membership as a gift, for a dependent relative, for example. After 6 months, your family and friends can exercise the option to pay for their healthcare themselves. It's simple to do - you can add family and friends online, download and complete an application form or call us on 0845 052 5733* with your membership details.

Alternatively, they can pay for themselves straight away. Just give them your membership number and ask them to call 0845 052 5733* with their bank details to hand. We'll set up their Direct Debits and add them to your membership.

If you currently pay for your membership by salary or pension deduction, please contact our friendly sales advisors on 0845 052 5733* to see if you are eligible to alter your payments via this method.

If your membership is paid for by your employer under a corporate healthcare scheme, add family and friends by downloading this application form (pdf).

The application process for Friends and Family Healthcare

  • there are no medical questionnaires to fill in
  • we won't ask you for your medical history
  • there are no age limits - from newborns to grandparents
  • there is no eligibility criteria for family and friends, everyone is welcome

At £1.50 per person per week - only £78 a year - you, your family and your friends get access to a wide range of excellent discretionary healthcare services.
