Rest assured that if you joined Benenden Healthcare under our employer eligibility criteria, you can stay with us for life. So even if you change jobs, or retire from work altogether, you can still keep all the benefits of membership.
There's absolutely no upper age limit, and no question of charging you extra as you get older or because you use our services. Every Benenden Healthcare member pays the same flat rate of £1.50 per person per week regardless of their age or employment status.
And remember: at any stage, you can add family and friends to your Benenden Healthcare membership for only £1.50 per person per week - and spread the benefit of first-class healthcare around.
Do you need to change the way you pay?
If you pay for your Benenden Healthcare membership by Direct Debit, just leave everything as it is. Your payments will be taken in the usual way unless we receive further instructions from you.
But if your membership was paid by your employer, or through a deduction from your salary, you need to make new arrangements to make sure it doesn't lapse.

Making new payment arrangements is easy
If your membership was paid for by your employer, or through a deduction from your salary, you need to create a new Direct Debit payment. And that involves just three simple steps.
1. Check the date of the last payment made by your employer or deducted from your salary
2. Have the number and sort code of the account you'd like your new Direct Debit account to be paid from ready
3. Call us on 0845 052 5701* and our friendly team will arrange your Direct Debit - so your Benenden Healthcare membership will continue without a hitch.
