York-based mutual not-for-profit healthcare organisation, Benenden Healthcare Society announces today that its members’ magazine, benhealth has been accredited as the largest-circulation health & wellbeing publication in the United Kingdom.
Following a recent audit by the Audit Bureau of Circulations (ABC), benhealth achieved the following rankings:
• With 352,433 UK readers, benhealth is 32nd in the ABC’s circulation rankings (with more readers than Hello, National Geographic and Cosmopolitan)
• benhealth is now the largest-circulation general health and wellbeing magazine in the UK
• In 2010, benhealth is the second-biggest magazine in the UK making its debut on the ABC rankings (pipped only by Tesco’s Real Food magazine)
These rankings are closely followed by a redesign of the magazine for its latest edition out this month. The look and feel has undergone a makeover resulting in an improved reading experience for members.
benhealth is produced for Benenden Healthcare by Caspian Publishing and sent four times a year to Benenden Healthcare’s prime members who make up over 350,000 of the Society’s total membership of over 930,000 people across the UK. Members can also chose to save paper and costs to the Society by gaining access to a downloadable pdf in a special members’ area – over 30,000 members already choose this method.
